Result of the planets is depend on the which house planets rule and in which house planets are sitting. There are some difficulties felt by the people who have exalted planets but they rule dusthana houses (6th, 8th, and 12th house). Therefore every planet act differently for each ascendant because they rule different house in the horoscope. The planets are the force of nature that allow our higher conscious to unfold through whatever they rule in the chart. The house of exaltation and debilitation show which area of life will allow for the the highest quality the planet to unfold and through house transformation will occur in life.
Let’s say person is aries ascendant and it Jupiter is exalted in 4th house, and it rule 9th and 12th house. 9th house is luck house and 12th house is loss. Jupiter is exalted for 9th house and 12th house. Jupiter exaltation means they are capable in finding their inner peace and spiritual wisdom. They have generous and helping nature. So what result can be expected in Jupiter mahadasha because it rule malefic 12th house. These people have difficulties in their life related with 12th house but because Jupiter is exalted they are manage it and strong Jupiter will try to free these native by bringing aloneness and loss into their the sphere of emotional live. Those losses force them to look into their hearts for higher spiritual wisdom in order to surrender.
Another example if Scorpio ascendant have exalted Sun, which exalted in 6th house and rule 10th house. 6th house is dusthana house in astrology. Exaltation of Sun in 6th house means the person face problem in career area, it bring enemy, competition and arguments with which will teach the person humility and limited use of power. The exalted Sun for Scorpions will act like this to make him mature. When positive lord exalted in dusthana house, it shows the problem to the person in order to understand that area of life.
Those people have exalted planets in their horoscope it doesn't mean they escape unpleasant part of life. Everyone have to face unpleasantness of life but it matter how you face it. Exalted planets simply mean the person is mature and able to manage life worse situation with dignity.
