Marriage is the part of life which is necessary for normal living. But nowadays due to different lifestyle and many reasons like mixing of various cultures, moral values and changes in human outlook and attitudes, marriages also have changed. But there are many astrological planetary combinations which show late marriage in someone life.

In astrology there are mainly two planets which are significator of marriage is Venus and Jupiter.If these two planet are not in good dignity marriage can be delayed. All other planets also play role in marriage.

Role of Venus in marriage: Venus is the planet of love and relationship if Venus conjunct with malefic planets like Saturn, Sun and Ketu or Saturn aspects Venus they damage the energy of Venus and can delay in marriage.

Venus combust, debilitated and retrograde makes it difficult for a person to take decision which causes delay in marriage.

Sun is the enemy of Venus if Venus in the sign of Leo can delay in marriage.

If Venus is hammed between malefic planet like Sun and Saturn it delays marriage, because they infused their malefic effect on Venus.

Role of Jupiter in marriage: Jupiter is the planet of many important things in life. It controls many things in life like marriage, children, luck, wisdom and higher knowledge. If Jupiter is debilitated, retrograde or combusted delay in marriage and create disharmony in married life.

Planets in the 7th house: 7th house is the main house for married life depending on which planet rule 7th house and which planet sitting and aspect 7th house shows the result of married life.

For Cancer and Leo ascendant Saturn rule 7th house. They should marry late otherwise they may separate.

Role of Mars in marriage: Mars is the planet of fighting, if Mars sitting in 7th house or aspect 7th house person should marry late otherwise it create problem in married life. Mars energy get matured in age 28 the person should get marry after 28.

Role of Rahu in marriage: Rahu is obsessive, compulsive planet. It gives unconventional marrige if it sits in 7th house it makes person to attract intensely and makes person obsessive and the person may marry early but Rahu is also illusion it also get native separated after illusion get over. People who have Rahu in the 7th house should think thoroughly before getting married.  

Role of Ketu in marriage: Ketu is the planet of detached and disinterested in materialistic world if Ketu comes in 7th house the person is not interested in marriage unless Jupiter or Venus aspect the Ketu.

The 2nd and 4th house considered of family, any malefic planet like Saturn, Ketu and Moon with Ketu sitting in 2nd and 4th house can delay in marriage.
