NAKSHATRA 27 CONSTELLATION REVATHI

Revathi – The Drums

Revathi (16.40-30.00 Pisces) is ruled by Pushan, the nourishment-providing aspect of the Sun God. The reference of this last and final nakshatra is the journey, from this world into the next.

In plain translation, Revathi refers to one who is wealthy and this is conveyed by the essence of this asterism at multiple levels. Alternatively, Revathi can be translated into ‘the ability to transcend’.

Behavioral Characteristics

English words like ‘reverie’, ‘reverend’, ‘revolving’ and ‘represent’ have been derived from Revathi, the most pleasant of nakshatras. The benevolence and positive traits allow the native to see the world from an optimistic point of view. In fact, Revathi remains unaffected even in times of a setback. On the flip side, this asterism relies too much on their personal beliefs, which are often wrong. The twin influences of Jupiter and Saturn make them reflective as well as idling. It is the sign of the dreamer who is unperturbed by the movements of the world.

The strong link up with maya characterizes the essences of Revathi, which relates its illusive attributes to Lord Vishnu, the Creator. Their universe is very different from the universe of the others and the likelihood of living within a para-realism comes in the way of their enlightenment. As individuals, they are supportive which is mostly reciprocated. The best thing about this nakshatra is that it gets the support when it needs it most. Representing the climax of civilized behavior, Revathi natives are refined, well-groomed, and elegant in behavior, often themselves born in rich and aristocratic families.

If there are no malignant nakshatras or influences, Revathi natives are generally well brought up with good education and felicity. Their pleasant social façade make them excellent friends and hosts. Their understanding ability makes them help others which often results in them taking too much upon themselves. Spite from a Revathi native comes only when they are hurt. The illuminating complexion and smile are trademarks of Revathi which is inspired from the stage of life. Speech and communication are the faculties most used by Revathi natives.

The lack of the sense of boundaries makes Revathi engage the attention of the other person which makes them cast fantasy in its wake, like magic silver dust. Revathi always sees the larger scope of things, in infinite time, space and horizons. Revathi is signified by “kshiradyapani shakti” or the power of nourishment and sustenance through milk.
